Qvadis Releases Express Reader, Re-Launches Website

Toronto, ON - 29 November 1999 - Qvadis Corporation, a leading Internet-based provider of mobility solutions for Palm computers and other personal digital assistants, today announced the release of its innovative Express Reader line of applications, and the re-launch of its Qvadis.com website as the premier e-document portal for Palm handheld users.

Express Reader enables end-to-end portability between desktop text-editing applications and Palm devices. With Express Reader GT, Palm owners can read and manage personal e-documents, e-books downloaded from Qvadis.com or other Websites, and even beam them to other users via the Palm infrared port. With Express Reader DX, the desktop component, Palm users can preview and manage their collection of e-documents, convert text files into Palm format, and prepare them for viewing with GT on their Palm organizers. A suite, Express Reader Pro, is also available.

In addition, the re-launch of its Qvadis.com website, makes it the premier e-book portal for Palm handheld users. Along with its Express Reader applications, the Qvadis.com site currently features an in-house library of more than 100 e-texts, the Web's most complete set of references to Palm-compatible e-book sites, the popular e-Book-of-the-Month feature, handheld industry news downloadable in Express Reader format, and a host of other services for the growing community of Palm e-docment users.
