Qvadis Appoints New Members to Management Team

Toronto, ON - 13 January 1999 - Qvadis Corporation today announced new additions to its management team. Mr. Russell Scheer and Dr. Kevin Maynard have been appointed to Senior Vice President positions in charge of Development and Technology, respectively. The new appointments are expected to strengthen Qvadis' technical expertise in the enterprise and personal productivity area and accelerate its product development cycle.

Qvadis is an Internet-based firm specializing in the development of enterprise and personal productivity solutions for handheld systems. Its first product, a desktop previewer for e-texts on 3Com's Palm line of connected organizers and palm-sized PCs based on Microsoft's Windows CE operating system, is expected later this year.
